Creative Web Camera Price
Wireless USB… (Please answer)?
I just got a new Leopard Gecko and I want to put a live video feed on the web of it. I thought I would need a wireless camera, but when I looked at the prices for them, it was a little spendy. I then remembered I had 2 working webcams. One is some Creative webcam, the other is the Logitech Quickcam Orbit MP. They both only use USB. My question is, is there some sort of a wireless usb thing that can connect to your computer that comes with another Usb Receiver thing that can plug into the wall for electricity so I can connect it to one of my wecams that is 1 floor above the computer. Also, I would prefer the price to be under $70. Please answer, thanks!

Yes there is. There are several companies that are currently working on “Wireless USB” and it will do exactly what you are want it to do. BUT it is still being tested and I am not even sure it is on the market yet. Besides that, it is vary expensive. I talked to a representative of one of the companies making it and he said it might cost $150+ for just the basic design.
Right now I would recommend that you just purchase a USB Extension Cable. You can get them for less then $8 for a 6ft cable.
