Nextel are the best Out There?
I'm trying to decide on a phone I could use almost any where in the U.S. without problem …. I first thought that Sprint was good until I heard things the price of lift. Then I thought a place called the Cellular South (I do not think too many people know about this company, because it isn't anywhere) was good simpy because someone told me they have an unlimited plan, can stay on the phone so long that they want ….. What I basically looking for a phone is: Being able to use it anywhere, anytime. If I go to CA I want to use it, if I go to FL, I want to use, even in small towns! I want to be able to talk on the phone and not to you regardless of "minutes" running out. I mean come on, is that a real cell phone, having to worry about minutes? A nice camera on the phone wouldnt hurt either …. With perhaps unlimited text msg are just about it!
Sprint / Nextel has poor customer service, poor service and poor selection of phones. I'll stay away from them. For the mobile service: Verizon is the best followed by Cingular and T-Mobile. Cingular has recently been voted the best coverage and fewest dropped calls (JD Power Survey). Cingular technology (GSM) also call better than Verizon / Sprint (CDMA). For the devices phone Cingular has the best prices and options. Verizon phones are expensive and are not 'Cool'. T-Mobile has the cheapest, and most recently, they carry some cool phones especially If you are looking for PDA type devices (eg, T-Mobile Dash). For customer service: T-Mobile leads in this area. Price: T-Mobile the least expensive (the best) service plans and mobile text messaging. Differentiator: T-Mobile phones have built in wireless (802.11g) which none of other carriers. I have a wireless Internet connection at home, and instructed Skype on my mobile phone. Asa result, when I'm home, I am able to make Skype calls (Internet calls) that do not cost a penny and do not use my mobile minutes! So, I recommend T-Mobile for all characteristics.
