Best External Hard Drive Serato
which is the best external Hard Drive to run smoothly on the Mac Pro delivers normally aswel, to run Serato?
I I'm no Mac Pro Maxtor book "One Touch" hard drive. Though I've never had any problem with Maxtor hard drives on Windows .. Maxtor suxx on Mac. I aswel n it works fine on Seagate firewire .. but that sounds crazy. I really need a reliable player that is made for mac. (I use the format FAT 32) I will use the external hard drive to run my program Serato Scratch Live. So I'll go see u live n can not take risks. disk will be used for the songs n must be robust. PLZ HELP
In my experience, Seagate is the best of the "consumer" in terms of hard drives, and the three I have are almost silent in operation and have been 100% reliable, something I can not say for Maxtor, LaCie (which may be a Maxtor hard drive in case LaCie), or WD, all of which I tried. You can watch the professional players, but your talking a lot more expensive, and I have no experience there. Hope this helps. •
