PC Won’t Power ON

There may be several reasons why your PC is not powered ON.

a)      Improper connections
b)      Third party hardware
c)      Power Cable problem
d)      Power Supply
e)      Battery
f)       Corrupted Registry

Improper Connections

First thing you need to observe is that power connection is properly connected at both ends. If it seems connected in a proper way then attempt to disconnect the cable and reconnect it. Check your main switch supplying power to entire location where you are using PC.

Third party hardware

Did you install a new hardware to your computer recently? If so, then you should remove the hardware device or devices you have attached. In some cases new hardware is not compatible with system or system settings needs to be change to work with a new hardware.

Power Cable Problem

Make sure that the cable you have attached to supply power is not damaged. To do this you have to change the cable with another one. In case of portable computer or laptop, you can easily check through its light, if its ON then it means you have no problem with a cable.
Power supply Problem

If you are using computer after long time OR you never use this box after purchasing it then there are high chances that your power supply is not supplying enough power to computer. In this case you have to also verify that your power supply meets the requirements of your mainboard and processor.
a)      First open the computer and verify the power connections. You may also wish to consider disconnecting the Main Power cable and reconnecting the power cable to make sure it has not become loose. Also verify the power button cable is correctly connected to the Motherboard.
b)      Replace the power supply with a new power supply.
c)      Replace the motherboard.

Battery Issues

If you are using a portable PC or laptop that utilizes a battery for mobility then there are chances that the battery is creating problem. To fix it, you should consider
a)      Purchasing a new battery (if your PC powers ON when cable is connected)
b)      Remove battery tosee if computer can power ON with only power cable connected.

Corrupted Registry

Corrupted registry may cause problem on a reboot. Windows Registry corruption can be a result of power or hardware failure and file corruption. In this scenario computer does not start anymore.

To Fix Registry Corruption and other PC problems, use Registry Cleaner and PC Optimizer software. It would help you repair your Windows Registry errors and other common PC problems.
