Can you use your cable DVR to capture footage from a security camera?
Im thinking of buying a spy camera for my room and need to know if I have to buy a special DVR box or if I could just use my Comcast Box with DVR?
No, you have to purchase a separate DVR. The Cable Company uses it only for their cable signal. So an output on the box would only let you see/view it live not recording it.
