Changer Clock
HELP with CD player/disc changer in 05′ special edition Honda civic!!?
Two days ago my battery died on me. After getting a jump the car was fine but my cd player is not. it says (error) when i turn it on and I cant change the clocks time.
I read the manual and in it, it says I must take this particular cd changer (audio system with in dash cd changer only in special edition models) to the dealer if something is wrong?
I was wondering if any of you smart cookies out there have had this problem and would know how to fix it without me taking it to the dealer.
I have an 05 Accord, and the same thing happened to me. The problem is, everytime the battery gets disconnected, the audio system needs a special anti theft code to start working again. If you look at your owners manual there may be a card in there somewhere that says it, or if not you will have to go to the dealership. In my mom’s Honda you just punch in a 4 digit code. In my Accord, you needed to punch in at least 2 different codes, it was very confusing, and the dealership made it a lot easier.
I really hate that we have to go through this every single time the battery gets disconnected!
