Is black really the easiest color to see on a dark night?
The conventional wisdom in bass fishing is to use black lures at night because it is the most visible color. That confuses me, though…if there were ANY light, it would reflect better off of a lighter lure than a black lure. I had read once there was a study done about black army boots that proved this but I cannot find anything about this.
A+ for the silhouette against the backround with any ambient light! With no light absolute darkness motion, sound and scent are the factors!
