Can ozone generated by machine be lethal to people?

Using a Breeze AT by Ecoquest ozone generator has proved useful to kill molds and odors in basements. It has also helped to keep the air fresh in a small office where there are three or four people working closely. This is true as long as the settings are kept low. What I would liketo know, is if the machine, when cranked up high, or left on for an extended period could be harmful to small animals, birds and certainly humans. Has anyone ever died from the effects of this type of device?

Ozone may be harmful to your health, or at least that’s what Western Medicine wants you to believe. Ozone is Oxygen just 3 Molecules covalently grouped. Oxygen can be highly reactive to many different compounds. possibly some in the skin and lungs. Although, “Eastern” Medicine actually incorporates ozone therapy. I can’t say whether it works or not, although I do know it is practiced. I also can’t say whether or not the machine may not produce. Volatile Organics when the Corona Discharge encounters some of the latent gasses in the room. So I would operate it as suggested. I hope this helps.
