Jockey injured at Lone Star Park
After a spill in Thursday’s fifth race at Lone Star Park, apprentice jockey Kris Fox was taken to a hospital for further examination. His mount, Old Silverhead, abruptly went down with an injury in the turn. Fox complained of pain in his back before being taken to the hospital.
