Tips for Making Golf Course in the Backyard
Golf is an outdoor sport. It would be great to carry out during warm months. However, to really master this kind of sport, it needs some regular practices in a week. Thus, it will spend more expense.
It will be a great idea to have your own mini golf dome in your backyard. You can recreate 18 holes in your back yard. With that mini dome, you can keep on doing this activity for keeping your skill in balance. Additional advantage you can get is the fun. The first thing to do is to cut the lawn unevenly. You can make different heights of the grass for representing the makeshift rough and fairway. You could use your lawnmower for small greens. To tee-off, you only need the different places in your backyard.
The next thing to do is to dig the small holes by using tiny garden shovel. The size of the holes depends most on the size of the backyard. In each pole, plant a flag for indicating each hole. If you don’t want to dig the regulated size holes, it will be harder to plant the flag during the off-season.
Plant some trees in the backyard in order to make the game a little more difficult. Plant the trees which will grow not more than ten feet. It will be better to plant these obstructions in the makeshift rough. The amount of the trees you plant should be in balance with the size of your backyard.
The fourth step is to create the hazard. It will be a good idea to use small kiddie pool for the water hazard. In addition, for the sand strap, you could use small tarp which is filled with sand.
The last step is to build the fence around the backyard. It is beneficial for you not to enter the yard of your neighbor to chase the stray golf ball. Thus, the fence is to protect any possible incoming golf balls to your neighbors.
