How do you program the remote for the recorder to use on your TV? Also on the menu of the channel in the player's only channel that works is 3, is supposed to be this way?
There should have a manual for the remote — what makes you think that its universal. I do not have this DVD recorder, but most remotes that come with can not be used for this unit — no television. Channel 3 is probably your Cable Box. You go to your cable decoder cable, then you DVD recorder? If so, thats wrong. You must get rid of your cable (with a divider) where its coming from — it must feed cable box, and one should feed your Cable Box.
