Seagate External Hard Drive Blinking
How come my Seagate External Hard Drives light is blinking?
Hi, hopefully someone can help me solve this problem. Someone helped me solve the problem with my plextor dvd burner 
The question is….. I have a external seagate Hard Drive and three days ago i formatted my computer. When I went to turn my external hardrive on yesterday, the light on it was blinking. The light usually is a steady light and don’t blink. What could be wrong? I think its a hardware issue because it worked fine before i reformatted. Now im having one problem after another 
I also own a Seagate External Hard Drive (500GB) and I know that is you do not disconnect that device when you format your internal HD that you are inviting problems. According to my manual, a flashing or blinking light is an indicator of an error in the external drive.
