Seagate External Hard Drive Is Full
hard disk damaged…?
i have a 500gb maxtor 3200 external Hard Drive. last night i accidentally tripped over it and it fell from approx. 1 foot height. as the warranty period is over i opened the case and extracted the seagate barakuda hdd. whenever i connect it, it gives a sound like bzzzz…. it doesnt even get detected by the computer. things i’ve tried: using it in another computer, checking detection in BIOS, using it internally, and asking vendors about it. All 500gb of storage space was full… so i’m also worried about my data. warranty is already gone.
any help will be appreciated.
it doesn’t get detected in any computer…. that’s the problem. and yes, a seagate hdd inside a Maxtor
it seems the head’s gone… will data recovery software help?
Juat attach with another System and try to get the data. Else ask to the Hard Disk SERVICE CENTER for retrive the datas. Else do not to do anything.
