I have a 232 GB Seagate External Hard Drive, how do I format it to FAT32 or HFS +?

My Xbox 360 is may only detect FAT32 or devices HFS, but when I try to format my external hard drive that it has exFAT, and NTFS. Neither are detectable by an Xbox 360 or PS3. I just curious if there was anyway around this. As with any manual way to change the formatting, or other software perhaps? Or I just go buy another external hard drive?
