Seagate External Hard Drive Warranty

What should I do with my external Hard Drive does not work?
Well, I went and f *** ed my external hard drive by dropping it on the ground more earlier today. It is a Seagate FreeAgent Go 160GB external hard drive. When I connect to a computer, it lights up as if it normal, but each computer can see that the hard drive inside of it does not. Therefore, the device does not even show up on the computer. I have owned for about two months and I am saddened. I came upon two choices for me: 1.) Enjoy the security and mail for a replacement. 2.) Replace the hard drive of a laptop spare 20GB hard drive, I drag that used to have Windows XP Professional on it. Should I select from the options above, I gave myself, or someone else have other ideas to try?
Get a warranty replacement (if you can – for example, do not tell them you dropped it).
