What freedoms do you think we are losing due to this economic crisis?
Is anyone paying attention to all the stuff that’s going on? If we nationalize some banks what does that mean for us? With each business that the government is getting involved in (ie auto industry) the government wants more say in what’s going on.
Here in sunny California, there was talk about putting GPS devices in our cars and measuring how much we drive because gas sales are down and we have more efficient cars. If they are putting in GPS devices, won’t they be spying on us too?
yeah – they also talked about taxing you based on what you drove and how far you drove it.
Plus they could implement a ‘congestion tax’ like they have in London, where you have to pay extra to use the roads through the main part of the city during rush hour.
Like one of the guys on BBC TV said – it’s not like they are just doing this to be obnoxious, the drive there, when they drive there TO GET TO WORK!
And yes, I believe the more involved the government is in these industries, the worse off we all are. Look what a great, efficient job they do running so many other things?
