Surveillance Pci

Computer just stopped working. No display, no BIOS bootup, but does turn on. Any ideas what to look for first?
I’ve had this computer running in my garage for the past 2 years (roughly) hooked up to surveillance cameras and it currently just stopped working the night after I installed a wireless pci adapter. Everything was working fine the day of the installation until that night when I noticed that I was getting no feed. I checked the computer and there was no display on the monitor. I did a few reboots and nothing came on the screen, not even the BIOS boot screen. The monitor itself displays a no input display screen, so I highly doubt the monitor is bad.
Anybody have any ideas what caused my computer to stop working? If you think it was hardware failure which component do you think it is? What is the best (most efficient/time saving) way to figure out which component needs to be replaced? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
First thing to do is to take your pci card back out. If it works without the pci card, that’s your problem. there is a conflict with the pci card and something else most likely video card. Next, if it still doesn’t come up, make sure that your video card and any other cards are seated properly in the slots. You don’t mention if you hear any beeps which would be the motherboard telling you there is a problem with a component…so it’s hard to say.
If you do all the above and it still doesn’t start, put your hand in the back and check the fan that comes out. Is it blowing? It could be that your power supply is going bad.
If it’s running in the garage, humidity and dust could be getting to it, so make sure you clean it out well and ground yourself by touching something metal before you mess with the components again so that you don’t accidentally pass static electricity around. (also make sure it is unplugged from the wall when you mess with it.)
Make sure all the plugs and cables are plugged in tightly, too, in case you jiggled one out as you messed with the pci slot.
