Best external Hard Drive for independent filmmakers?
I have about 30 hours of video from mini DV tapes that I want to store digitally on an external hard drive. I would also have enough disk space to back up my Mac. What is the quality of discs drives you would recommend?
Both Seagate and Iomega are good brands for external hard drives. Since you do a lot of video, you will need a decent amount of storage. You can get 1TB external hard drives pretty cheap. Try www.newegg.com
