Western Digital External Hard Drive Driver Software
How do I get my external Hard Drive?
I have a Western Digital My Passport Essential which has always worked on my computer up present. I tried to connect my computer and continues to make online "and" disconnected "noises, and I get a notice indicating that the device is not identified and it can not find the appropriate driver software to install. I tried the disc hard drive and other USB ports on other computers, and the same thing. I tried to download drivers and files from the WD website, but it is confusing and I think it is just one problem with BC is still working on Passport this computer before. If it is really fucked up, is there a way to save what was on it? I have five years worth of pictures, and ALL my music and anime. Please Please help!
it may be that the USB cable is bad on several occasions to connect and disconnect the USB contacts can be worn all trying to use a USB cable or other cable news you might have if another cable is not working, it may be your passport has problems
