vcr dvd combo…best deal and quality…what is tuner it mentions to get one?
I have read many reviews on tv,vcr combos on walmart and its confusing which is a good one and for the price? it mentions a “Tuner” what is this and it sounds like you need one???
A tuner is the part that receives a TV signal. Without the tuner, a VCR DVD combo will only play tapes and DVDs but not allow you to watch TV. Of course, you TV should have a tuner, so you should be able to use that to watch TV but not to record shows on TV. Over-the-air TV will soon be changing from analog to digital, so you’ll need to buy a converter box anyway unless your TV is DTV ready.
