Vaquero Metal
Metal detecting permission?
I live here in Santa Maria, Ca and I was wondering if do I need to ask permission to metal detect at my local park or beach. Ok here is the sight and tell me who do I need to contact. ASAP! and I own a tesoro vaquero Metal Detector. I hope my vaquero detector will go easy on the ground you know not to much digging because its detects deep :O

I would just call and ask if there are any restrictions in using your metal detector on public parks and beaches. In my area they are accessible, but I have read on other forums some beaches only allow detecting at certain non busy times, just call them, also if you have friends or family that live in older houses ask them if you can detect there, always ask permission on any private land. Don’t forget about school yards also they are also good to detect.
