How large of a Hard Drive should I get?
I just got a macbook pro and I was just wondering how many gigs I should get. I was thinking the Western Digital My Book was good. My Mac has a 320 gb hard drive, so should I get a 640 gig hard drive or 1 terabyte hard drive, Im going to back up all my files with time machine. and do external hard drives have a lower chance of dying overtime than a internal hard drive, and lastly how does time machine work
Yeah. You should probably go for something between 500gb and 1 tb. Time machine is a back-up program that saves everything on your mac automatically. It quite literally means what it’s name means. I think it’s like system restore on Windows.
Hope this helps.
