Whenever I attach my WD Hard Drive to my Mac, Time Machine displays an application. Ignore that automatically?
This is a Western Digital Passport external hard drive. This dialog box appears Time Machine, which I am not interested in using. Although it opens whenever I attach the USB disk.
Run: defaults write-Bool com.apple.TimeMachine YES DoNotOfferNewDisksForBackup (row) in the Terminal. This would whether they have also offered this option as a GUI (or, better yet, just leave / you / decide when to initiate a backup), but Apple is notoriously paternalistic.
