Western Digital External Hard Drive Sync

How do I enable my external Hard Drive to automatically sync with my computer?
Western Digital External Hard Drive that I'm too lazy to constantly drag files and update them daily (p). Is there a software I can install that will allow me to choose a schedule and put Updated as I want without having to do it manually. Thank you all must be done manually. I wonder if there is anything I can install to enable to do by itself.
Hi, There are many different backup software. Just do a Google search for backup applications. You already have Windows Backup on your computer, it will work for you. There is a problem with most backup programs. Their backups are compressed formats so that the only way to recover a file is to use the backup program that created it. That is why I use backup Freebyte. This is a free program and it saves files in an uncompressed format. That way, when I need one file, I can simply copy and paste it back or just open it from the backup disk. Freebyte backup does not have an automatic scheduler. I made a shortcut on the Quick Launch toolbar, which opens the program, then all you need do is click on "Start". this software is incredibly fast, it is essentially DOS batch file dressed in a modern interface The first time you use it you must configure your profile. This means that you need to read the "How to" file and the first scanner to copy all files and folders you select. It will take 20-30 minutes. All other times, you selecr differentials save the settings and files that have changed are copied. There is a link below to Acronius which is good (to pay) Backup program also has a link to Freebyte. Hope this helps, Al
