Can I use Western Digital 500 GB to expand TiVo Series 2?
Should I buy an internal or external Hard Drive to expand My Tivo Please help Thank you.
You can not extend outside series 2 units. The extensor WD MyDVR only works on the series 3 Tivos on the base. and some non-TiVo DVR. To develop a series 2, you need to replace the internal hard drive, or add a second drive. It is recommended to replace the hard drive if one.
